Or keep modding the Rex? I'd love the iron block of the EVO and the rock hard tranny. Plus the looks. I'd be in love with the car and it would haul *** too! But I don't know if I can hold off modding the Rex and if its in the 12's by the time the EVO comes what's the point for selling it then?

Other option is to just wait for the R35 GTR (If I can afford it).

 

Wow, that's a tough call. I considered buying a WRX when they first came out, but I couldn't handle the front end looks. One other thing you might consider, if you keep the WRX and the STI comes stateside, you will have the *inferior* WRX. If you go with the EVO, you know it's the top of the line all wheel drive turbocharged car from , then again, you could decide to go with the STI when it comes over here..... decisions decisions

 

i'm keeping my wrx and getting the EVO. why not have fun with 2 turbo charged cars -- one as my daily driver and the other as the weekend warrior.
besides, they're 2 rally icons.

I have to agree..I just got back from the NAIAS and the red EVO 7 they've got there is AWESOME.

If (and that a very big if) they bring it over exactly like it was in the show, with the exception of the RHD, I'm gonna have a hard time keeping my WRX.

BTW, if your listening , keep the adj rear spoiler, rear wiper, and brakes.

I'd love to have both, esp since my wagon has proven to be immensely useful for hauling things. But I've actually started thinking I need to drive less and conserve some miles. I've had mine for 5 months and I'm at 14K miles!

I wonder how much I can get on a trade-in ??

I probably can't afford both. I figure I'll just mod the WRX and if the time comes and I can afford the EVO, I'll sell the mods and trade the WRX.

 

I guess i'm forced to wait unless the GTR or new supra comes out soon.

My bro-in-law has a rex with turboxs stage2. You probably need more to get into 12's but, for $1700 it's worth upgrading anyways (298hp).

I can't wait to race him with my Evo VII or VIII!

Yea... can't wait still saving money... I only get $9 an hour so I have to have a large @RSE down payment to afford teh car... sucky...one day though...
