My version of headlight adj. write-up
well, i saw the other write-up that said to use a socket wrench, i just couldnt get mine to work, so i used the screwdriver method, heres some pictures of where it goes and steps on how to do it from the beginning if its your first time. the reason for the adjustment is beucase other members and i think that the headlights are aimed too low!
SD=screwdriver
ok, so heres the driver side:
the passengers side:
this is exposed when the bottle is removed
when you insert the screwdriver, turn clock wise. a method used is to face a wall, put the setting to "0", mark it on the wall, turn it to "2" and adjust it until it gets up to where "0" was. MAKE SURE HEADLIGHTS ARE OFF when doing this adjustment or else the motor will go crazy!

man ur a life saver, i've been TRYING MY A$$ OFF AND GETTIN PISSED cuz theres like 18 diff instructions on how to adjust the low beams (this IS for low beams right? please tell me it is). Well i havent tried it yet, but tryna figure out how to exactly do this, got any pics of the SD installed on the area?
I agree, this way is easy to strip the little teeth. One poster said the dealership wouldnt fix his mistake either. In fact, you can see part of the 10mm socket in the last pic. on the other side of the teeth. Thing is, I had to go buy a very small socket wrench. 1/4 drive I think? Once I had that, piece of cake. And no stripping teeth.
yes it is for the low beams, and i dont have a pic with the screwdriver in place. but theres like a half circle looking area and thats where you place the screwdriver. and you just turn, esay as pie.
i only stripped on tooth a little bit becuase i didnt have the screwdriver in far enough so it was slipping. my socket wouldnt fit so i just used this, really really easy

so you're saying the wrench and socket it WON'T strip the teeth?
if not what acutally won't strip the teeth, I'm so confused...
