Had a little run in with a funny looking car the other day. it was pretty fast, but no match for the evo

she is pretty up close though. gotta love the carbon fiber wheels this car sure can rip it up though

yeah thats our 05 fsae car. she sure is fun to drive handles a little better then the evo does.

I wanna see that matchup on a road-race course, I'd take the Evo!!!

 

i do have it on video actually thats why we were out there. video taping the car from the evo (the reason the windows are down)

well, the SAE car is pretty fast... it does 0-60ish in about 4 seconds restricted. our unrestricted car can do 0-100 in 7 seconds. but the big thing is how well it handles. it has a top speed of around 100ish (where drag is to great for the restricted power of the car), but it can pull about 2 G's lateral acceration which is a wee bit better then the evo. i would suspect it would smash an evo on a road course because it simply would never have to slow down. obviously it is faster in an autocross no questions asked.
