JDM MR Blow off Valve

I just ordered a JDM MR Blow off valve from LancerShop.com and i was wondering if it would void my warranty? Im hoping it wont since it is a Mitsu part but i guess that might be up to my dealership. I dont know why I even care since it wont take but 5 minutes to switch them back out haha....

just keep the stock BOV, once you get a service, put it back on...

I was anxious to know this as well. It is an actual Mitsubishi part, so I don't see how they would blame that for a cause of failure. They might not notice it, but it's so easy to just swap it out with you old one when you go in for service. Someone should ask their dealer about using this DV. I'm just curious.

Jdm Bov

It should be ok. It is afterall, a Mitsu part. But, (worst case) if it breaks internally, gets sucked into the engine and causes an expensive failure, lie and denie.

It totally depends on the dealership. I have reflash, TBE, cams, intake and my dealership still warranties my car.

Some places void the warranty at the first site of an aftermarket BOV. I, too, have the JDM MR DV, but I ALWAYS change it out before I go to the dealer. It takes less than 10 mins, so why not do it? It's not worth the risk, imo.
