The only difference between most autometer gauges are the faces and needles.
Same ****, different package. I'm not a big fan of Autometer, but I can't say they're awful. So...whatever floats your boat.

Wow another rip on autometer thread
I bet at least half the people that rip them apart have never even used one.
I've been happy with my autometer guages. Furthermore their customer support was excelent when I called. (I lost a part and they sent a new one for free)

good customer support. I complained about the POS Nexus gauges and they said the controller boxes are defective. They took my name and said they would call me when they figured it out. I said so what do i do in the mean time, they said to send it back if i like and they would send me an equal amount of product of my choice of equal value. Works for me.....

I have a Greddy electronic boost gauge in the mail to replace an Autometer Sport Comp mechanical gauge. The Sport Comp needle doesn't read zero with the car turned off anymore, and that gives me some reservations about how accurate it is right now.
I'm sure Autometer would replace the gauge if I asked them, but I need a certain level of trust in my boost gauge since a MBC gives one the power to destroy the engine if set incorrectly. I'm thinking that gauges are a bad place to try and save a buck.

Hi.. I am not an evo owner.. I actually have a mazda3 http://www.sounddomain.com/ride/718287 but I do have the nexus gauges which you can see on my cardomain site.
I have had nothing but problems with them from day 1.
The tend to freeze up and require me to unplug the control box.
I sent the unit back to autometer who had it for 6 hours then shipped it back to me. I recieved the standard "voltage drop at startup answer" and that was it.
I now have them on a switched ciruit with plenty of juice and good ground and still they freeze.
Imo a waste of $800. (boost, egt, oil pressure and control box)
