What would you pay?
My local dealer has an '05 E-blue with SSL package and 61xx miles on the lot. I am thinking of trading in my '03 WW(I will be putting it back to stock) with 24k miles and upgrading. What do think I should be looking to pay for the '05? They also have 4 brand new '05's on the lot right now so they clearly aren't moving cars. I am thinking I can get around 21k for my trade and i would like to get the '05 for under 27K. What does everyone think?
yeah but if you are talking about the one listed on autrader the car I am talking about is at Naples and not Ft. Myers. There is a brand new '05 on the lot in Naples and the window is 35,909. Who are they kidding? No wonder there are 4 new cars just sitting on the lot.
These guys sell them for slightly over invoice;

They don't have a E-blue though

Well after watching the car sit on the lot another week I decided to go down for a chat. Dealer is not wanting to flex past 28,500 for a used '05 with SSL. They said they could get me 21,500 for the trade but were unwilling to move more on the new car. I told them if the price was 27,000 I would buy it but still nothing. If it is still there next week I will give it another shot.
At this point if i were you i'd wait for the 06 model. I traded my 03 for my MR and only recieved 21K for my trade with 17K miles last year
$21,500 for your trade towards a '05 with SSL 6k miles and 10yr warrentee at 28K is not a bad deal.
