Well it seems that I just dont have any FN luck with the APR Splitter. Yesterday Night I was driving home on the 118 West......when out of nowhere there was some sort of debri, big enough to rip the stock lip off along with the APR splitter. So no other damage other than some Fender screw poping out, and aside from my missing pieces........I am just pissed becaue the stock lip wtih all screws came out to 275.00...just so I can look stock again....then I have fork out the cash for another splitter....DAM i am pissed so I am just ranting on here guys.......so bare with me.....and for all those who read this post...here are some pics...enjoy.

hardluck man...maybe its time to consider an aftermarket front facia

 

Agreed, this is the time to go aftermarket. Try and get something other than fibreglass. Urethane makes for a good long lasting front fascia.

thanks guys for the input....and usually I am the same page you guys are ini right now....but ther has been nothing that really captures my eye like the APR stock front bumper combo......so I will try again......the only sort of light note about all this is that I already needed a new stock front lip anyways.........so that was already coming but to buy a third APR splitter........jeez.......Alhtough I did not pay full price for thr first two, its still cash down the drain.

 

ok that really sucks ***, just like my 18s and the idiot that ran me up on a curb and into that damn pothole!!!!

 

Urethane tends to act finicky in the heat. For example, it will warp like a *****. Maybe OEM, or the new Evo 9 bumper. MMMMMM!

 

What about the Varis lip? You can get that and forget about paying for a stock lip.

i hate when s**t likes that happen.have u considered the do luck lip?it looks clean to me too.I thought about selling my apr splitter but after i took off the apr sticker.I realize how clean it was.So i might just keep it until i get tired of it.

And I did think about getting that lip forom you guys (grupp-s), I already had the holes on the front bumper for the APR splitter, so that was really my only reason for not going Du Luck style.........So I decided to try one more time... I already paid for the stock lip (MOMMY)......and now I am waiting for (Hopefully) semi sponsored price from APR.....wich me luck guys......

 

Sorry to see that............I actually cut about 2 inches off the front of my APR lip so it is more of just a splash shield that a splitter.

I was woried about it getting torn off like that.

Good luck with the new lip.... this is the reason why I have been reluctant to get an aftermarket lip.
