Defi Gauges

Question.....

If i get the Defi Link Display Unit will I not need the other gauges? I know i'll still neet the boost gauge, but the link display unit says it shows egt, oil, fuel press, etc... so basically what im asking is if i get the:
1. link display unit
2. control unit
3. and boost gauge

would this work and would i still get readings from egt, oil, fuel press, etc..

No u do not need the other guages....what u need are the sensor set for each readings. Here's where I bought my link display and the other sensors http://www.gtspec.com/, give them a call. Here you'll see the sensor set part #'s http://www.defi-shop.com/product/dp/dp_parts.html...good luck.

Prepare to empty the pocket book. They are a little costly IMHO! I just went with the Greddy Black faced 52mm guages no recording capabilities/ Moderate cost and very reliable.

I am very happy with them.

Defi all the way. When setting boost levels or trying to tune its hard to do while on the street. You have to look at the road while accelerating and paying attention to a boost gauge. This is why the play back feature is so uber. You can glance at your boost gauge quickly to make sure you're not spiking to some crazy boost lvls then pull over and watch the whole thing play out. Plus having a techometer/fuel pressure/ oil temp/ etc. with the play back is awsome if you opt for it, you can see the play back with boost and revs or boost and fuel pressure side by side and see whats going on. Over all the play back is worth it.
