Sat in Evo!! Turned on engine, but no test drive

Sat in the EVo today!! For those of you who want to go, its the Veracom dealership in San Mateo, SF, CA. When i first drove by the dealership and saw the EVo on the platform, I almost hit a parked car. But anyway, the car looked awesome, much much better then any pictures you've seen. My only complain are the control buttons (AC, fan buttons) they are the old corollas. The seats are comfortable, just everything expected from what we know. I got to start the engine, but no test drive (even the salesperson himself couldn't test drive it). The one i sat in was silver, thats the only car they have. I guess thats why the asking price was $45,000!!!! THe salesperson i talked to said the manager told to put that price out, but they were really going for $10,000. They said that they will get 3 or 4 more cars later this month.
I also checked the one in Serramonte, they didn't have the cars yet, but they said they will have it by 3/5/03 if not the 4th. They will get 3 cars, a white, blue, and red.
