SRS light on EVo
SRS light on EVo after clutch install
This happened to a friend of mine in Georgia. He took his evo in for a new clutch (ACT HDSS). He got it back and the steering wheel was cocked off 45 degrees, he took it back and it was cocked off 20 degrees the other way. He took it back and they had straightened it, but now the SRS light was on. The shop who did the work said they don't know why it is on.
Does anyone know the culprit. I suggested that I have heard some cars have a string or something that if you turn the wheel too much while not connected to the rack - the string breaks and causes the light. He is afraid the dealer will rape him to figure it out. Any suggestions?
By the way I searched the forum first - no results.
Thanks
