i am thinking of moving the nc or sc for my work jus wanted to know weather u guys have yearly emissions checks and if soo how bad are they , there are no checks in ohio

 

there are no emissions tests in SC. I lived there for 20yrs until about 2yrs ago, now i'm in nashville. Things haven't changed from what i've seen on my trips back. They're pretty loose on modded cars. NC does have an required yearly emissions test though. first test is like $20-30, you get a free retake, and if you fail that one it costs you out the ***, like . We have tests in TN and i just put my stock pipes back on. If you choose based on modding your car, SC is the way to go.
