now that i know how to take my front bumper off i was thinking of changing my intercooler piping to hard piping has anyone tried changing them out? how hard?
and with the front bumper off is it very easy? do i need to take anything else apart?

its very easy...with the front bumper off you will run into know problems...all depends on which pipes you go with that determine how difficult the upper pipes are however. the LPI's make the fitment very difficult. as far as the lower goes however, its simple.
thanks whats the best kit i can get best fitment/performance?
and would this definitely void warranty? is this worse then an intake?
my dealer does not mind catback exhaust but i got to ask about this

From my expierence if you touch the uipc on a stock/ or not seriously modded evo your an idiot( i learned the hard way), will not gain anything really and will just cause a headache in the future with hoses popping off. Stock uicp flows good enough, only pipe I would change is the lower, also when you only change the lower they cant really see it for warranty reasons.

I have changed the ic piping of both mine and my friends evos multiple times. Taking the bumper off makes it so much easier. Id say go ahead and try doing it, theres not that much you can screw up. Just make sure all the clamps are tight as hell, and none of the hoses are going anywhere. Good luck!
Did anyone else hash the little plastic retaining clips for the bumper when they took it off? I've taken my bumper off twice now and ended up replacing all of the plastic clips because they were stripped out. Still WAY easier with the bumper off though.
