Why are Mitsubishi dealers such trash?

I really don't understand. Anyone work for Mitsubishi elaborate on this? This isn't my first time car shopping, but it is my first time dealing with Mitsu and I must say it's a serious pain in the ***.

Salesmen blatantly arguing with you, customer is always right? I think not. I've worked in sales before, and I'd never think of arguing with a customer right out the door. This is something simple as the IX's are coming out ( even if you say they arn't ) and I DON'T WANT AN VIII 5K OVER MSRP THANKS ANYWAYS. The closest I could make headway into asking about ordering a IX, was how about you buy this VIII and trade it in in a month when you "think" the IX comes out.

Lets not get started on test driving. I can walk into a BMW dealership, get a credit app and show a fairly high interest in making a purchase, and was able to drive a brand new Laguna blue M3 out of the SHOWROOM by myself. They said have it back in 15 and take it easy, no problem. I tell em I have over 10k cash ready to put down, they check my credit, and they open the glass showroom doors and let me drive her after they get her out.

Im sorry Mitsu. I love the Evo, will end up buying one, but for the love of all that is Holy please get better dealers and more knowledgeable and less argumentative salesmen. And if I show good sized envelope of 100's with the clear instructions that if you don't try to screw me or treat me like ****, I will give you it now for the first Tarmac Black IX that gets off the truck, at least treat me like I'm not some guy wading through New Orleans with a bucket full of beers.

everyones different. sometimes youll get cool salesguys and sometimes youll get the asses. id say its mostly the sales managers influence on them. they have all these rules about the evo and everything and not letting people walk and selling cars for as much as you can so its either **** off someone that theyll never see again or **** off your manager that they work with everyday.

others just think that all customers are all idiots and have tons of money to waste on a car without thinking about it.
