What do you think of this price?
OK, so I'm working on my local dealer for an '05 VIII GSR. Not sure if I want the SSL package yet or not. But here's the price I was given for a car with SSL package:
$30699
$595 (Freight)
$3120 (SSL Package)
$34414 (Subtotal)
$2042 (Tax)
$23 (Doc Fee)
$36100 - Total Delivered Price
Now I've looked at edmunds and this seems high to me. From what I can see it's pretty damn close to MSRP.
When I brought this to the dealer's attention he said, "Well, we'd have to pay someone to go get the car"... blah blah blah.
I should work out a better deal right?

Seems kind of high, if they are saying that they have to pay someone to get the car it means its on anothers dealers lot someplace. If it were an MR I would say maybe.........
