1st Oil change @? JD question

I just got a work from the salesman and he was saying I killed him on the JD Power review. Honestly, I didn't feel i got the greatest service ever, so i gave him 8's and 9's and he called me saying what happened to all the 10's??! He wants me to come in to discuss it, i think he wants me to update my scores for him... I think i'm going to have him fix my speaker if he wants me to change my opinion. Vibration on the door my @!# the more i think about my defective speaker the more pissed i get. None of the other speakers make the buzzing and he should've fixed it for me a long time ago...haha Plus i never got my car waxed. When i first picked up my car it was just rinsed and the sticker crap was still stuck all over my car. It looked so used, and instead of single digit milage i got over 40 miles on my car when i got it.... dang.. had to vent .. the audacity to call me to set up appointment to just correct his score when this is all i think he deserves... going to milk it

anyway... also i remember reading that i should make my first oil change at 1000 miles correct? I wanted to get that done as well but the salesman it's 2500 miles before i do my first oil change... Should I still get it done at 1000 or was he correct? I could've sworn I've read everywhere that first oil change should be aroud 1000 miles...

It seems to be a lot of opinions on oil types and when to change. I just did my first at 1200 miles, but I was also going up to the track for the weekend.

Ah i haven't taken my car to any tracks yet, nor do i plan on it anytime soon. I just thought i should change it semi early because new engines has those metallic shavings that rub off on the new part edges.

and u know what he said at the end? this was the funniest part i left out. He goes, "Can you call me back in a hour to set the appointment?" At first i was like um wtf? So I replied "why not just set it now?" and he goes, "Because i'm with another customer right now. " AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH I then told him, why don't you call me back and we can set up the time then, and he never called me back yet. lol

Don't let them wax your car! You will end up with scratches all over it from dust and dirt that won't be removed from the paint prior to the wax. Mitsubishi paint isn't the best to begin with just wax it yourself.
