how do u warm up tranny and diffs?

eversince it started getting cold in the mornings iv noticed that iv needed to warm up the car longer... after about 5 minutes the motor is fully warmed up, and i shift to 2nd gear real smooth but its grinds! im thinking...since those parts dont move when the car is at a stop, how do we warm up the oils inside? the gears grind slightly everytime i drive in the morning and i feel like theres always damage everytime...inputs?

you should try to warm your car up in the middle of winter in upstate ny. i can say i know what you mean. All i do is shift extremly slow and become patient. when i do that i have no issues with grinding.

Try changing your tranny fluids. I recommend BG SynchoShift. Just changed mine and my shift action is much improved. I used to get locked out of third, but not now.

Is it time to change the Synchromesh? From my experience it's the best cold weather trans fluid, Redline stuff is not as good and stock forget about it.
