Been trying to figure this out and need some help....What brand are the original EVO5 fog lamps? Will any other brand fit into the stock brackets? Thanks...

 

We never officially got the Evo 5 here in the US, but I'm sure that there is someone here on the forum that knows.

thanks Mike! i've got IPFs on my evo5 but they're not the original lights so i kinda had to modify the brackets a little.

Yeah I have an Evo 4 (which uses the same Fog lights as the 5), and when I bought the car it didn't come with fog lights so I went out and bought some. Actually I bought a used pair off of Japanese EBAY for about $150 which is pretty cheap since brand new they run $700! Anyway, to answer your question...the brand (for the OEM foglights) is PIAA! I thougt about going with different lights (which require different brackets) but my friend (who is an HKS certified engineer and owns his own shop) told me that ANY non-OEM fog lights will be too small and will not fill the gaping gaps of the OEM front bumper. Hope this helps!
