Q's regarding repair...

Last night as I was getting off exit 109 from 85N, I hit some major debree on the road. The front bumper took most of the damage, the stock lip and undertray is tore up and dragging on the ground. I am not sure what exactly I hit b/c it was inside a garbage bag, but it was very hard, maybe some kind of electronic (small TV, or Radio), but it caused damage to my FMIC as well. My car suddenly felt very boggy, it would try to stall out on its own, and will not go any faster than 20mph.

I filed with my insurance and everything and they asked me if I had a body shop in mind. The first place I had thought of was the dealership, but then I would much rather take it to somewhere more experienced with high perfomance cars since there was damage to the FMIC and possibly some other things.

My question is would State Farm replace my front bumper back to the stock one or could I possibly try and get the IX front bumper instead? Would they replace my Greddy FMIC or could I get one of my choice? Also, does anyone know any high performance shops that works with State Farm? Any help would be appreciated, never really been into a situation like this before. Thanks all.

it is all up to the insurance. alot of insurance companies want a quote on damage and they cut you a check. you can get it fix with the pieces you want - at least that is what mine did on my old car.
