LancerShop Not like Vegas EVOS?
So there has been some talk about LancerShop being hella shady on the shiping of products in the past to some of the local guys and i thought i would take a chance and do some buisness with Lancershop. So I decide to order my 272/272 GSC Cams and HKS Suction kit and 3rd day shipping so i place my $800+ order and go on with my happy life 11/16/05. So i wait 2 days and decide to check the status and to my surprise my parts were not yet shipped out! So I call them and ask them what is up and they pull some "it takes 2 days to process order we ship it out"
i pay to get my parts 3 days after order is placed not when ever LancerShop decides.. They Credit me $30 to my card and tell me that it is on the way this was 11/18/05. Monday rolls along and i check the status again online and it states that the order was shipped Next Day Air, delivery day 11/22/05! So i finally get my parts and take them to get installed hell i even take the day off to wait for my parts! So my car get torn down to the camshafts and then we find out that LancerShop has sent me 2 INTAKE CAMS! so i call lancershop and some lady tells me that she cant do anything untill tomorrow! I ask to speek to a Supervisor and she tells me he is on the phone so i say ok ill wait then she ask if theres i problem and i tell her everything and ask for the Supervisor and then she tells me that he wont be in till the morning! WTF is goin on with Lancer Shop! Sorry but you lost 1 customer that still has alot of things to buy. Along with most of the Local Guys
i order 3 gaskets last week and only recieved 1. still waiting on the other 2 and no word from them or when it will come! definitly not excited about it and they shouldve said it wasnt in stock!
Its very unfortunate and I don't support vendor bashing but the community really does need to know about these practices. I have recently had a negative experience with them and ultimately had to involve my bank to get my money back.
Again very unfortunate because they usually have pretty good prices. FYI, Justin has personally apologized and offered a discount coupon, which I appreciate but will do me no good since I will never shop there again.

This isnt a LancerSHop bashing at all this is simply a Service Review!

OUCH, i wouldnt look at this as bashing if it occured more than once, twice, or 3x. Lucky for me, last time i did business with them was almost 6 months ago and I ordered Project Mu pads, but they sent me the wrong pads, BUT they were the more expensive Project Mu pads so I didn't complain, maybe outta stock?
ya, im not trying to vendor bash, simply just stating how my purchase went. ive purchased from them more then once with no problem and i like their pricing so maybe i'll do it agian, but im not very pleased with my last purchase.
My only beef with Lancershop is that they failed to contact me when a part that I ordered was not in stock. I waited almost two weeks and then called them back to find out my order wasn't shipped because "we didn't know what you wanted to do". No crap...ya never called me back to tell me anything!
When I first got my car two years ago, I used to order parts form them. I got my clutch,cams, headstuds,clutch line. Then they got real big, started using another company to take orders. It used to be before when I wanted informantion on a part someone would be there to answer my questions. When they started using this outside company , the operators had no clue about anything. I had to buy a intercooler so guess what, I ordered from them. BIG MISTAKE. The intercooler got ot me on time, however it was damaged. To get it replaced I had to go thru a song and dance. It was only after I posted here about their poor service, then I got a reponse. LANCERSHOP...... You Guys were good ONCE. YOU guys need to get back to buisness so you wont Lose anymore Clients. My next order I will place with you because I believe in SECOND CHANCE!!
