r you kidding me wow the stock turbo is good for mid 11 easy check my time below. i got a turbo xs intake w/ a cusco mass air pipe. i have no desire to change my turbo unless i have to. w/ an exhaust / intercooler / cams/ and a good dyno tune will be good for a mid 11. and of course a half way decent driver. im not saying im the best or a pro but. C&D got the 05 RS to run a 13.1 when mine was bone stock i went 13.2.

 

^^what are u talking about? He's not bashing on the stock turbo or saying that it's incapable of higher performance than the evo already is. BTW: are u plannin to run mid11s on pump gas with those mods u stated? Cuz if you are, I find that utterly impossible. Even on higher octane...i still doubt it

yes, i am, and when i do ill post the video. with those mods and of course injectors and a clutch is good for like 100 whp that will deff go mid 11's. i went 12.6 w/ a 1.9 60' and the car is capable of at least a 1.6- 1.7 with those mods you can do the math for every tenth off the 60' is good for 2 tenths @ the quarter +100 more hp. thats good for a half a second. (conservatively)

 

You're getting ahead of yourself now. I know you're excited about the 12.6 @ 109 with those mods, and that is a great accomplishment, but you aren't going to make another 100whp with the mods you mentioned. Injectors won't help you at all, and you aren't going to make much power at 20psi no matter what mods you add. The way we make more power is by running more boost. Mid-11s can be done with all the bolt-ons, cams, FMIC, a great tune, and either alky or race gas, but it's rare. RacerS just did 11.5 @ 119, but that is very rare. Most people get up to 116-117mph with those mods, which is only good for 11.7x on really good driving...maybe 11.6x with incredible driving.

You might hit 11.99 after you get all these mods while remaining at 20psi and using pump gas, but you won't hid mid 11s. FYI, 13.2 stock is a little below the curve in comparison with the other top 05 drivers, especially in the lighter RS, so you have some room to improve before making lofty predictions.

You're doing well so far, but don't get too cocky before you actually do something big.

You are getting a little too ahead of yourself...and also you never mentioned clutch and injectors, but STILL with those mods, you're STILL not going to run 11s esp without running some high octane fuel and upping the boost or runnin an alky kit...oh and some nice drag racing skills

 

i hear where you guys r coming from we'll just have to see. unfrotunatly it wont be right away, the car payment drains me not enough $ for mods. if you catch my drift. also as i look out my window i see that it is SNOWING!!!!!!! mother@#%*(&, son of a &^%$!, cough, cough, im ok. i guess its gonna be spring when we find out, lol.
