anybody have a problem with their newer style evo 8 badge? mine has some spots where it's slowly peeling off. i followed the instruction on this forum on how to isntall it. i even wiped the area with alcohol to make sure there's no wax.

another thing, when i received mine from lancershop my badge(package) did not say anything mitsubishi on or in it. usually, when you buy a dealer only item it has bar codes and logos of the company. i need to know from those people that bought this item from lancershop or from a different store if there is a tag, sticker or anything on the package that says it's a mitsubishi part.

someone mentioned here that lancershop has 2 different version on evo 8 badge?
i e-mailed lancershop about this but no reply. any info is welcome. thanks

 

Mine had a part number, small white sticker on the plastic.
The other one I bought (black badge) did not, but was from a different vendor.

If lancershop is ordering multiple ones they might come bulk, hence not having a part number.

 

thanks. i'm just expecting all dealer parts are bar coded, tagged with a company logo.
