Yesterday a few of my buddies and i got together for a little hang out and three of my buddies had evo's. One evo IX, one evo IX Mr and one 05 evo gsr without ssl. We went for a little cruise because for some odd reason, minnesota had great weather. It was sunny and about 48 degrees. there were also a couple of Mr2's, one sti, and two mazdaspeed protege. I got to test drive the mr and the IX and i noticed a little difference, I don't know if it's just me but the IX seems a little bit faster than the Mr during the first couple of gears maybe due to the new gear ratio. My buddy who had an 05 test drove the IX too and he say it seemed a bit faster as well. So i was just wondering if any of you noticed the difference and is the IX a bit faster than the IX MR in the first couple of gears. Maybe it has something to do with the gear ratios of the IX. Other than that debate between us it was a great day. Thanks for reading.

God Damn Right!! Not get rid of yer Mazda and get an Evo, you can find a used 03 for VERY cheap.

i do not have any pics this time because it was a last minute kind if thing but yeah...i will be getting an evo very soon. Also we are thinking about doing a drive this summer or get together as a group before we hit up rockfalls so if anyone wants to go.Pm me.
