Although your damage does not look very bad (enough to make anyobody sick though), you may be entitled to diminished value. I had a 350 Z that was 3 weeks old. Some idiot in a parking lot creamed the side of it. The damage was about $4000 but I was also able to get $1700 in diminshed value since it was new (Virginia law recognizes diminished value). Do a search for diminished value in your state. In my example, I was awarded (no court or attorney, verbal settlement with idiot's insurance) that amount based on the loss that would be incurred if I were to trade or sale since it is no longer "accident free" and the repairs would have "diminished it's value verses if it did not have an accident. Just a thought, may not get much or anything, but never hurts to explore it. BTW the $1700 was exclusively for diminshed value, no injuries or bills, just the diminished value.

Thats what I did as additional research. Your insurance company may be able to tell you if Florida recognizes diminished value (some states call it different things) even if you decided to go thourgh them. Your insurance would be recovering cost from the other party anyway. I went through the other party's insurance after making my insurance aware of what I was doing in case the other gave me a problem. If you go through your own, you will most likely have to put down your deductible and get it recovered when the dust settles. If it is recognized, even with minimal damage, you have a good argument since the car is only a few weeks old. Since it is new, it would hurt the value if you traded or sold. At least worth a few searches and a call to your insurance.
