The possiblities right now are these.. either we will have to disable MIVEC which would be a shame, or after we splice the VIII harness into the IX we will then see how we can get MIVEC to work. I am hoping that the MIVEC will still be controlled by the stock ecu and that we can just tune the fuel and ignition tables with the VPRO. Whatever happens, we will have to tailor the VPRO to match how the stock ECU will be controlling the MIVEC, if it even works at all. Currently we really have no idea how everything is going to function. Just stay updated with this post and whatever new information we find out we will be sharing with the EVOM community.
Just FYI, recently in Japan they figured out how to get the VPRO to work with the i-VTEC function featured on the DC5's and Accord's (US TSX). We're hoping that since it can be made to work on the Hondas, we will be able to figure out a way with the MIVEC system on the Mitsubishis.

Evasive,
We are on the same grounds as we are now working on a Euro-spec Evo IX, so it may now be more complicated with SAYC, ACD and the MIVEC. We are throwing in a MoTeC M800 on it. Heres the catch. We are not also sure how or if the Motec will be perfect for the Evo IX because of the Mivec control. We are also on a dilemma of whether we will disable the MIVEC and install the JUN cams and parts, but then again, we would be defeating our main purpose. We will keep you updated too on the developments. As of now, we havnt started yet since the JUN parts are not yet here.

+1 im out the bid too, his playing hard to get because everyone knows that the evo9 turbo is bigger that the 03-05.so i think his deciding if he has alot bid,he might start a auction bid or something.
