Will you guys be feeding any information back over to J. Kuroyama / Howie / Katsu over at HKS?

I hope somebody subscribed to this thread got a PM about buying the old Evo IX turbo, because I sure haven't seen what's to become of it addressed anywhere in this thread.

I am hoping that the MIVEC will still be controlled by the stock ecu and that we can just tune the fuel and ignition tables with the VPRO. Whatever happens, we will have to tailor the VPRO to match how the stock ECU will be controlling the MIVEC, if it even works at all. Currently we really have no idea how everything is going to function. Just stay updated with this post and whatever new information we find out we will be sharing with the EVOM community.

Just FYI, recently in Japan they figured out how to get the VPRO to work with the i-VTEC function featured on the DC5's and Accord's (US TSX). We're hoping that since it can be made to work on the Hondas, we will be able to figure out a way with the MIVEC system on the Mitsubishis.

Evasive,

We are on the same grounds as we are now working on a Euro-spec Evo IX, so it may now be more complicated with SAYC, ACD and the MIVEC. We are throwing in a MoTeC M800 on it. Heres the catch. We are not also sure how or if the Motec will be perfect for the Evo IX because of the Mivec control. We are also on a dilemma of whether we will disable the MIVEC and install the JUN cams and parts, but then again, we would be defeating our main purpose. We will keep you updated too on the developments. As of now, we havnt started yet since the JUN parts are not yet here.

This thread isn't about selling the stock turbo IX. If you are interested, PM him. Get with the program already. This is already the n'th post about buying the stock turbo. Sheesh.

Yeah, keep us forum members posted on any progress you make with the Motec as well. BTW, didn't you have a shop in Daly City, CA a long time ago? Philip is the name of the guy who managed / ran the place if I remember correctly.

Yes we have a shop in Daly, though I have no update on it, nor have I been there. I am basically new at Autoplus, almost a year I think haha.

+1 im out the bid too, his playing hard to get because everyone knows that the evo9 turbo is bigger that the 03-05.so i think his deciding if he has alot bid,he might start a auction bid or something.

Go away. They have never offered the turbo for sale and don't need to respond to any of the UNSOLICITED offers. These guys own a shop. I am sure they can figure out how to sale the turbo if they so choose. They don't owe it to anyone on this thread or anywhere else for that matter. Please stop posting this crap.

Sorry to go OT, but this is just stupid.

Yes. We work very closely with John being that we are a V-Pro Dealer. If there's anything that we learn, we are always more then happy to share it with them.

First off, I asked then 2 or maybe 3 more people asked if his stock turbo was for sale. I'm sorry if you think its soooooo intrusive of me to ask about their new paper weight.
