If not, pull the starter off and have it tested.

Check the ground on the battery side as well as the wires going to the starter.

Fuses are safety mechanisms. If you blew a fuse, there's a good reason for it, and usually it will mean that you have a short in the car somewhere. If it's the battery fuse that blew, you definitely don't want to bypass it, as your short would be in the main battery line. I wouldn't want to see anyone short a circuit that has an 80A fuse on it. I would imagine that the result would be melted insulation at the least, or a fire in the worst case scenario.

If the solenoid clicked, then there is power. As the original poster already said, the dash lights, radio, etc. work fine. I would check all connections to the starter.

An 80 amp short would be sufficient to weld some sh*t together.

IF you push start a car and the drive wheels lock up when the clutch is popped, you have a seized motor.Especially when the starter wont turn the motor and the car is only 2-4 yrs old.

(Opps didnt see how old the first post was)

Check the connections to the starter, trace them back to the harness and battery, make sure there is good continuity and no cuts or shorts...

And did you check all the fuses and fuseable links?
