Well guys I think I will venture over to the dark side for a while!
Since I like the newer M5 and it is a little more than I want to pay for a car right now, I think I will check out the 06 STI!
Dealer is giving me $24500 for my 04 SSL BBY with 21556 miles.
In total stock shape
New ride will be a white one!
Dont hate I will probably be back when the X comes around
I had to hold on for a week while my new car sits at the dealership so its time to tear her down. Deal done today but its still not too late to walk away!
Parts will be on the block for sale soon! A host of goodies all in like new shape!
Get your money ready they will be up with pics soon.
Memories, and feel free to tell me about the bad stuff about the new STI cause they will be swapping my plastic filled mounds (if thats how you spell it) with the 05 ones

I thought everybody from the "darkside" was coming over here because the redesign is hideous.

NO. I have no brain cells allocated towards STI's but it is about to change

I'd think about it for a few more weeks before pulling the plug, otherwise you'll be back and I'll have said I told you so

I'm coming from an 05 STi. 06 changes nothing but the front fascia with new healdlights and roof wing. IX changes Gearing, Turbo, Drivetrain, Front Fascia, Interior.. need more? :P

actually they have a new driver power split control which is great!
like i stated I will probably be back with the X

You mean the DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential) ? That's been there since the 04s. It's great, no doubt. but you leave it on auto about 95% of the time. Just like leaving the Evo in Tarmac Mode.
