Car cover in winter...
Seems to protect the car until I can add another garage, at least keeps the wet from getting on the engine via the hood vent. Only problem is; taking the cover off as the knots freeze and a hair dryer is necessary.
I'm glad I bought the cover from the Mitsubishi dealer as it's lighter in weight and easier to handle than the cover I purchased online for my SRT-4. That cover weighs a ton.

I am in the snow belt and the cover will stick (sometimes), usually take it off when the sun shines on the car, but a hairdryer is necessary to undo the straps that hold the cover on the car.

Make sure you take the cover off as frequent as possible and shake the dust and dirt off it. Also use a good waterless wash spay detailer when the cover is off to make sure your paint is clean. Over time the dust & dirt will make it through the cover and scratch the paint.
