It feels damn good... but i really want untill the summer to have it reflashed!!!
The only problem is , that in here we`ve got tuners only for european cars!
So i cant reflash it in the States becouse you guys have 91 octane fuel! We`ve got 99+ octane fuel!
Do you know where the hell can i reflash it in Europe ,but a very safe one, becouse if something goes wrong what will i do...?

Correction. The western states get 91. The eastern states get 93. However, there are some gas stations where you can get 100 at a few select pumps.

That's right the REAL gsr is a 6 speed. People in the US have closer to an Evo GT.

Don't the Europeans have different octane ratings?

I dont really understand what u mean?
Here we`ve got 95 (minimum), 98, 99+ and 100+.
My Evo book, tells me to put 98 octane fuel minimum!
It might be calculated different though... I dont know!
Can anybody tell me what are the differences... becouse it might help me to do the reflash!!!!
Im gonna come to Las Vegas in 2 weeks!

You should worry about boost raise when you reflash the ECU, because euro and jdm evo's ix have magnesium turbine wheel. It has been reported that if you raise the boost in the euro and jdm ix the turbine will blow. It happened several times in UK, just check the lancer register forum. Just for the info, not to hate on the ix because it is a great car.

Yeah, the overseas GSR is closer to the US MR. They don't have a Evo 9 MR overseas.

Not quite correct. On JDM GSRs the mag turbine wheel is OPTIONAL (just like the BBS rims, instead of the Enki defaults). GSRs normally get the aluminum wheel... which doesn't have the blowing up problem. As usual there is a tradeoff, the mag wheel spools a bit faster and that, but can't handle as much boost pressure. Which would you prefer?
