Opinions on boost gauges?
Was just going through the old Evo last night making some of the stuff I installed a little neater looking. I decided to reroute the lines for the boost gauge and make the install look a little cleaner. Long story short, I managed to drop the gauge after I took it a out and broke it. I was pretty mad! Had an Autometer gauge, worked well, not high priced. Thought about changing it up though. Was thinking about the Defi link system, but not really sure if it is worth the money. All opinions are welcome!
for accuracy nothing is going to beat a MAP sensor, and some logging, but for mechanical I personally run an autometer ultra-lite.
I've ran it for 1 year, and I know some people have problems with it, I think the reason I don't is that I replaced the stock hard plastic line with a rubber vacuum tube.

I didn't want to use that hard plastic line either. I used a small section to make a connection between the plastic vacuum hose and the gauge. I wanted to run rubber hose all the way but couldn't figure out how to make the connection to the gauge without using the hard plastic tube it came with. How did you connect yours?

+1
use the same one in all my cars, had one go bad after awhile, like get off a psi, it was pretty old. ive had a greddy but i sold it and went back to autometer. never used any of the other brands.
Yeah that hard plastic line is crap, mine acctually melted, and it of course gets hot under the hood, but wasn't in a spot really near anything extremely hot, so i was like WTF when i seen my PSI going down slowly as the plastic crap melted, boosting to like 2PSI, OOOHHH Watch out. i have the autometer also, i have always had good luck with them, never used any other gauge in any of my cars, why switch now? But for sure upgrade to the rubber
I had a plastic line melt under the hood as well. I have a rubber line going from under the hood to the dash then the hard platic line from there to the gauge (the rubber line was not long enough). Works like a charm so far
