The article says the other car ran the red light.

This is uncalled for. The report does not say that the yellow EVO was at fault. The black car ran a red light and T-bonned the EVO into the bush.

You better read road signs better than you read that article or (God Forbid!) you're liable to end up in a wreck yourself .....

... like the others have noted, It wasn't the Evo who ran the light.

In fairness to you, there are other examples that give weight to your statement, but this isn't one of them.

I think most of us are just stunned (once again) by the how fragile "being here tomorrow" really is.

Someone makes a mistake and you or someone you love is gone forever.

Way too much of that happening.

I'm not against prayer. And may they rest in peace. I hope that this being a second incident in this intersection that the proper precutions are now going forseen to prevent this from happening again. Not just because of an Evo being involved, but any vehicle for that matter. No one should have to go through such a drastic loss of friends and family. It's a sad day.

If anyone finds out who it was (a member of evom?) A memorial thread would be the least we could do for condolenses to their family and friends.

Click to where it says "IMAGES" and get back to us after you read the captions. Thanks.

Quite frankly, it doesn't matter what the hell you drive. Speed = Momentum = Can kill. You can be driving a Prius and can kill someone depending on how fast you're going. For idiots, it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive in order to cause an accident.

Last Saturday night, I nearly got sideswiped by an Escalde because the driver jumped from the right lane, hopped over the middle to the left lane which I was on. He had no room to get in, so what does he do? He forces me off the road onto the bus lane on the highway, which I had to jump on. Jackass wouldn't let me back in so I had to downshift and get back into lane after passing two cars. I also have an MDX. Slightly smaller than the Escalde, but I don't drive like an idiot like this Escalde driver did.

This is a sad story....

Yeah I really dont like people that drive escalades or any of those big suvs made popular by rappers...

They dont know how to drive respectfully and often drive like they own the road, especially here in NY..
