Thumbs up exaust cutout clip..

well i see some threads about exaust cutouts and for those of you who are thinking of getting one, here is a couple of short videos of what it sounds like.... vids are not good or anything, but you can hear it and that is all that matters... i dont really like how it sounds...but its okay for now...

The first one is just cruising speed (with the window open)

And the second is of how it sounds a little closer to redline...

I hope this helps those who are thinking about getting this done to their car!

( oh and btw, i had some friends in the car, and they decided to play a song from an old movie called orgazmo in the second vid...enjoy!)

hehe, good job on the vid, i'm sure tons of people are curious what a cutout sounds like but they dont wanna do it themselves, lazy bums. i ran my evo open downpipe for like 1 minute while i was doing my exhaust, i did the same thing w/ my buddies SRT4 and my WRX last year, they all sound like semi trucks IMO w/ nasty loud spool noises

Go look up what it looks like, you'll understand. If not, there might be a problem.

Are the electric cutouts you are selling the same as the QTP's. http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/...ct_detail&p=25 . I am thinking of putting back my stock exhaust but leaving my 3" downpipe with an electric cutout. This would be a perfect sleeper, until you open it up. Cops would even think twice. I also read in one of the threads that for a turbocharged engine, the best exhaust is no exhaust at all. Any comments? Would i gain some or loose some HP.

^ Electric cutouts suck, they just explode and the motors go out.

Manual cutouts all the way, $25 bucks and they will never break.

qtp cut-outs are not a bad option. we have used them on several cars. they offer a warranty for premature failure and the re-build is affordable if it does go bad.

the looks you will get are priceless when you open it up, thats for sure
