If you've got $4000 negative equity that's a large chunk to add to car. What you're going to pay for an RS, someone else paid for a new MR. Now if that statement doesn't hurt you and if you really think you can afford MR-like payments then by all means go for it.

The smarter thing to do if you really want an Evo is to look for used RS or GSR. It might take a while to find the right one but the result is more affordable payments.

sooooooo for the added cost i may just go with the gsr model but damn it would be so cool to have the stripped down version

 

i bought an 05 MR brand new, no money down, but seven year loan, well worth it.

 

Good luck on a IX RS, there still a hot item. Get a used RS... an 04 RS can be had for well under 20k or save up some doe.

If you really want the car, then by all means go for it but try to sale your car first...4k is a lot of money added to your rs...but like i say if you want it really bad...it's worth every penny.

 

oh btw i paid invoice for a gsr tarmac black IX, after ttl, 32500 otd...still waiting to pick it up in a few days.
