I believe the stock intake box with a drop-in filter is good for up to 400WHP? I know Vishnu likes the stock air box, but most people upgrade.

If your car is stock than I don't recommend the intake first, I would go with an exhaust and MBC. If you do eventually decide to get an intake, make sure you get it tuned. The main problem with intakes occurs when you change the MAF pipe.

Search. Search. Search. Search. Every question here has been answered many, many times.

Don't get an intake first. No, it won't help you on a stock Evo. Yes, the stock intake is good enough and then some. Exhaust is the main mod for gaining power, but the other 2 main ones are boost control and a tune - Forge UNOS MBC and a Dynoflash, for example.

Turboback exhaust, boost gauge, mbc, foge rs valve, drop in filter, and a reflash. That is a good solid place to start. If you want and intake get a reflash to. Make the most of your mods dont just slap parts on and expect to make lots of power.
