Talking Air Born Question

First of all this question may get me flamed... That said I am curious to know if the front wheels come off the ground can it damage your drive train..meaning will they spin faster than the rear wheels if they are still on the ground. you know if you tow your car it will destroy the drive line, does this have the same effect?

I dont know many Evos that will pull wheelies.....

but, the diffs arent gonna be affected because it would only be for a second. But, I wouldn't try to jump the Evo. It will not go well.

i am taking an educated guess here but if rally evo's can fly on all 4 why can't yours lol but i am sure they have the proper suspension to take the abuse. (trust me proper suspension is a must if u plan to do this often cause i just recently replaced my lancer es's rear shocks from doing to many fun dips in the road and a few air borne and now soon i gotta do the front )

Just of the ground on the right road and it's extremely fun . But I'd stay away from the Dukes of Hazzard jumps. .

towing will destroy the front diff.. but if you get airborne you better be smart and let off the throttle.. it wont hurt the center diff. just wear out quicker if you constantly just get the front wheels off the ground and dont let off the gas.. btw the front is heavy, so watch for nose dives..

William! AHEM!

I highly doubt for that short time, there will be any damage done to your driveline.

I'd be FAR more worried about damage from the impact with the ground.

I prefer to keep the wheels of my car planted on the ground. In my opinion it wasn't made to jump.
