I been seeing alot of topics saying that the '03 Evos are the slowest and least reliable. I've also heard that the '04s and '05s are a much better car. I personally have an '03 and I want to make my car as good as the later models. What changes do I have to make to do so?

 

trade it in for an 04, 05, or better yet... just go for the ix!

 

I wish. Thats not an option. I love my car and I just want to get the full potential out of it.

You will need a 10.5 hot side. tranny LSD and ether an 05 ACD but you will have a hell of a time putting this in, RS Center diff or some kind of LSD and there you go.

is your car reliable for yoU? does it always break down? as for being faster... most evo owners mod their cars.. it depends on how much you want mod your car.. more mods = faster car... you gotta pay to play!

 

Oh, I have mods. I just want to get the same numbers the 05s are getting from the mods that i have.

how many miles have you got on your car? why is trading it in not an option? I would think it would be cheaper and 10 times more easy!

 

get a 10.5 hotside, the ebay 02 housing that warrtalon has, and get hks 272's and you'll be set for a while.

 

I love my 03, not 1 problem! And very fast...lol

 

I too love mine. Thats why I want to get the most out of it.

 

Those are the only things that changed for 05, other than some small things but as for big things that is all. the three bigest things to be put in the 05's that the 03 & 04's did not have and some ECU updates but a flash can take all that out of your way.
