I have put 10k on a set of GY Eagles, and I love them. You just have to make sure you run the proper pressures on them. They need much higher tire pressure than any other tire I have run on my car, plus the wet traction is awesome.

+1 for the Falken Azenis 615's.. I have them on my evo.. they are very close to the performance of the stock Advans! (and much cheaper)

You need an alignment.

That tire's not rubbing anything, it's being dragged across the pavement due to too much toe in...especially if the car is lowered.

Get new tires then get it aligned. Should solve that problem.

Also, I have the Goodyear F1's on my Evo right now and must say, I'm not a huge fan. I'm going with Advans next.

I just purchased my 2nd set of Bridgestone Potenza SO3 PP 245/45/17 on my stock wheels. I liked the wider look on my car so I went one size up on the width....no problems with rubbing or anything right now......

Definitely get an alignment...looks like the inside of your tire was worn down...that and make sure you are at the correct air pressure with whatever tire you decide on.

Good Luck!

245/40-17 BFG KDs... not gonna find stickier tires for dry conditions.
