help please!!!

Really need some help please... This is what's going on. Current mods are intake, catless down pipe, cat back, hks ssqv ver. 2. I just got done installing an o2 housing and header. I took the car out for a spin and it pulled sooooo hard! I check my boost and I was spiking at 23 and holding 22?? I don't know why its this high.?.? Before the install I was spiking 19 and holding 18. So Then I got on it again and at about 6000 rpm it felt like the car stalled for a sec. Followed by a backfire? I shifted to 3erd, got on it again, it started to pull hard, and then the same thing?? Then my check engine came on? What's going on?? The car still drives, and there are no funny sounds??? What is it?

Get it tuned asap and do not boost until then. Fuel cut most likely.

You increased the amount of air flowing through the engine with the mods to your exhaust. That increased airflow is causing you turbo to spin faster and hence the rise in boost. If you have a MBC installed simply turn down the boost until you're able to get a tune to take advantage of your mods. The stall and backfire is the car going through fuel cut to protect itself from damage.

That explains fuel cut/. Thank you very much for the quick answers guys.. Now I can sleep...
One more thing.. It will be tuned in about 1 week or so, and I won't drive it till then, do I need a boost controller??

Grumbling, Backfires, and Higher Boost levels are normal when you take a cat off a car.

EDIT: Your CEL is most likely P0234 Overboost Condition

As the other thread states, stay off the boost, install the MBC.
