intermitant engine problem please help

I was driving along yesterday and after hard acceleration up to about 80 mph I down geared the car, I then noticed the engine warning light on and the car felt like it was running on 3 cylinders, I pulled up and restarted the car and the car was fine for the remainder of the journey ( about 50 miles) I then restarted the car and it drove fine most of the way apart from 2 occasions when I floored it from low rpm as the boost seem to peak it felt like I hit fuel cut (I have only experienced this in my other car) but I was only running 1.1 bar?
then again today the engine light problem returned I restarted the car and it was ok again, has any one else had this problem or have any idea what it could be I’m worried I’ll be out some were and my car will break down and leave me stranded in the freezing cold

Most likely, welcome to the P0300 club.

Get the code pulled. It will tell you what the problem is.

i don't think there is a true fix for the code, but i think you can go to mitsu and have them reflash your ecu...if that doesn't work, you can get a C-reader from ebay($50) and leave it connected to you obdII port and it will erase the code within a few seconds..i run the creader, and it works beautifully...
