Question about AEM Eugo Wideband O2 sensor

Ok...really quick question here. I have had a P0137 code ever since I installed a Perrin Cat delete pipe on my 2005 Mitsubishi Evo VIII MR, and yes I have the perrin O2 sensor delete wired in. I have tried everything I can think of to get this damn P0137 code to go away but everything I have tried never seems to work. So my question is if I add the AEM Eugo wideband O2 sensor on to my car does it do away with the 2nd O2 sensor, and the Eugo takes the place of the O2 sensor?? That gets rid of the P0137 code?? Or what about the Fouler method? How does that work? Can someone explain to me what direction they would take?? I wold appreciate it. Thanks.

usually any circuit problem seem to rest on the sensor due to short circuiting on the wire.

where did you install the 02 sensor delete wire and how did you do it? From my gathering, you've already took the 02 sensor out?

Uego doesn't take the place of the rear 02 sensor. You could try Plx device. They have a wire that sends linear signal to the ecu in place of the stock 02 sensor. it's a wideband.

There are few other options but plx is the cheapest.

Here is the code definition:

DTC P0137: Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage.

good luck.

If you still have your rear o2 sensor and want to try the antifouler mechanical fix method go here for the write-up:
mech o2 fix link

I did it to my car about a year ago (7,000 miles ago) and have never thrown a code, knock on wood

hope this helps and you get this figured out, good luck

The O2 sensor is still plugged in and still screwed into the bung on the perrin exhaust. I have the perrin O2 sensor simulator hooked up correctly as well. White/black wire going in the direction of the ECU, and the whit ewhire going towards the O2 sensor. Basically everything is hooked up correctly.

here is the installation. Did you cut the white wire that you've installed the 02 simulator to?

i would reset your ecu, check your ground, make sure it's grouding well. It might be that your 02 simulator might not be working.

no ground, no power.

But thats what I dont understand?? I uninstalled it once already and re-installed it. The light is blinking on the simulator so I know its getting power and its grounded correctly. I also have hooked up both of the other wires on the sim correctly as well....so I dont know what the **** is going on??

Running a helix mechanical O2 fix on my IX MR and it has zero problems... I didn't like the idea of hacking up the stock wiring...
