Question about AEM Eugo Wideband O2 sensor
Question about AEM Eugo Wideband O2 sensor
Ok...really quick question here. I have had a P0137 code ever since I installed a Perrin Cat delete pipe on my 2005 Mitsubishi Evo VIII MR, and yes I have the perrin O2 sensor delete wired in. I have tried everything I can think of to get this damn P0137 code to go away but everything I have tried never seems to work. So my question is if I add the AEM Eugo wideband O2 sensor on to my car does it do away with the 2nd O2 sensor, and the Eugo takes the place of the O2 sensor?? That gets rid of the P0137 code?? Or what about the Fouler method? How does that work? Can someone explain to me what direction they would take?? I wold appreciate it. Thanks.
usually any circuit problem seem to rest on the sensor due to short circuiting on the wire.
where did you install the 02 sensor delete wire and how did you do it? From my gathering, you've already took the 02 sensor out?
Uego doesn't take the place of the rear 02 sensor. You could try Plx device. They have a wire that sends linear signal to the ecu in place of the stock 02 sensor. it's a wideband.
There are few other options but plx is the cheapest.
Here is the code definition:
DTC P0137: Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage.
good luck.

If you still have your rear o2 sensor and want to try the antifouler mechanical fix method go here for the write-up:
mech o2 fix link
I did it to my car about a year ago (7,000 miles ago) and have never thrown a code, knock on wood
hope this helps and you get this figured out, good luck
