Ok Im starting to get the idea that there is a serious issue with or 2005 Evo's, and the Perrin O2 simulator that is allegedly supposed to work?? Just from talking to the tech guy at Perrin and some other 2005 Evo owners the same basic problem seems to be the P0137 code after a cat delete is installed. It doesnt even seem to matter that the perrin O2 sensor fix is installed, the damn cars are still throwing the P0137 code. So my question is has anyone found a fix, or is this something that Im going to have to live with, or is there a fix out there???

all you do is goto a exhaust shop, stick a pipe about 3 inches onto your exhaust, weld it, stick your 02 sensor onto the hole, problem fixed.
as long as the 02 sensor is warmed up, you wont have any problem.
I've posted on your other thread, with graphs and everything. lol

Mitsu could start sending all the 2003 Evos with misfire codes to you and you can retire. Last edited by TTP Engineering; Mar 8, 2006 at 09:59 PM.
I drive an 05 Evo and this was my choice, no CEL in the last 2000 miles.

I've been using the Perrin 02 sim on my '05 evo for over 2,000 miles. No cel. I will see how it continues to work when I break the car out of the garage in the spring. If it happens, I will put the stock catalytic converter in for my OBD2 state inspection.
Makes me wonder if people have been having some install issues...wouldn't be the first time on this board. -Gabe
