deciding on a flash

Hey guys i was thinking about getting a flash on my 05 mr. I know they give you a nice hp gain but i've heard of people messing up there car because of a bad flash. I just wanted to know who you think is the best and what kinda of experience you have had with your flash. And also how can they tell at the dealer.

I'll be the first to say:

SEARCH, SEARCH, SEARCH, SEARCH, SEARCH.

Some vendors to mail-in flashes, but it can be a little risky. Especially those vendors that claim you need a fuel pump to cover their new programming, that's just my opinion.

You're gonna get the most power and safest most reliable power from a custom tune. Be is a flash or piggyback or whatever. Flashes are noticeable by the dealers, but only when they really wanna look for it. However, if they reflash you at the dealer to fix some problem (like the p0300 issue) it'll wipe out your vendor flash. If you have a piggyback, you could reset it to the stock setting or even remove it in like 15min before going back to the dealer.

I got a Dynoflash custom road tune, and I couldn't be happier. The only tunes that I have heard actually messing up someones car, are the ones that have a Aem Ems. I have never heard of a Dynoflash tune actually messing up someones engine, if anything it may be to conservative/safe.
