Cold weather and boost question

I've noticed, when it gets real cold (tonight for example 25degrees) my boost goes up.

I stomped on it in second gear and the boost gage shot to 23/24 on my gage and the car started to buck a bit. I'm assuming it's because the boost went too high and started knocking.

I'm currently customed tuned by Al at 22psi.

So, just to make this short, does cold weather increase the amount of boost and if so, is it better to turn it down a bit when it gets real cold out.

Thanks for your help!
Mike

yes your boost will raise cause of the cooler denser air.. either lower your boost a little or dont floor it..

Yes, it can change your boost significantly. I suggest you get a MBC to adjust your boost.
