hi friends i want to know if the MR diaqueen multigear oil they sell in evomoto can be use in a 2005 evo 8 RS ?? i have sent emails to evomoto.com but not getting an answer back??

you should yes. the only difference is that it's a little thinner, it's 75-85 instead of 75-90.

The LSD diaqueen is what Mitsubishi recommends for your transfer case
and rear differential. 75W -90. For your RS.

This is different from the MR 6 speed transmission diaqueen super multi gear oil. 75W -85. Not for your RS.

They both are GL5 but with different viscosities.

Basically what hondafan stated is correct.

For your 5 speed transmission on the RS you want to use some type of GL4.

 

diaqueen gear oil GL-4 75-90 is for 5-speed trannies, diaqueen super multi gear is GL-4 75-85 for 6-speed trannies(or 5-speed from my research), diaqueen LSD oil GL-5 SAE90 is for all evos' transfer cases and rears. the super multi gear is just a super expensive crappy tranny fluid that mitsu made special for the MR, i use an exact equivilent GL-4 75-85 synthetic instead.
