Is it me or those the HID headlights look yellow when driving?
the lights are definently blue/white compared to a regular headlight. one thing to keep in mind for all you guys that already have your cars, according to the owners manual you should always run lights at the zero position for maximum illumination. the 1-4 settings are for if you have a weight in the trunk or passingers in the back that are fat.. or two 18" subs...j/k...although ibet the four setting might work since all it does in my friends car is show if any ants are within five feet of your car...the headlights are bad ***...if you run with the fog lights you will definently see a yellow tint to the lights..bet this guy has his fogs on and doesn't know..

I completely concur with the original statement. Though they are far less yellow than the average lights you see on the freeway, compared with other HID's, they do have a yellowish tint. When first turned on, they're blue as hell, but if you actually stand in front of the car and look at the lights for about 10 seconds, you can actually see them changing color from blue to white (slightly yellow).

To me they look a lot whiter and brighter that the lights in my old WRX. They actually look remarkably similar to my wifes '03 Maxima SE which reputedly has HID lights. It also looks like other cars that I see with so called HID lights. Could it be that they are all fake??

Only kidding.
Seriously though. Maybe you've got your foglights on too and they are casting the yellow beam? To me, the headlights themselves (when on the outside looking at the car) look blue. But the light they cast is white with the edges having some funky prism like rainbow effect.
Oh come on now, do you really think I wouldn't know if I had my foglights on or not ?!
No, I know what I'm seeing and have had a few friends agree. I'll concede that calling them yellow is a bit too far, but they loose almost all of their "blueness" once warmed up. No worries about my eye sight being effected
, I'm not looking directly into the beam of light, just at the lense cover that it's projecting through. I'm not complaining in any way, by the way. I love everything about my car! By the way, I also notice the edges of the light beam having the prism effect.

Haha, its definitely not the fog lights...
Well i checked, i turned on the headlights (white/blue), during a 10-15 second span, you'll notice the lights gradually losing the blue color, makin' it whiteish/bright yellow tint.... so i guess it doesn't stay blue/white, and yes it still has the prism effect, so its all good.
