Finally back on the road, WOW!!

Well the Evo's been garaged since Oct. for the winter cause of the weather here and I was installing a bunch of new toys:
BR MAF Pipe
BR Upper Intercooler Pipe
BR Deluxe Intercooler
BR Mini Battery
GSC 272/264 Cams
Also blacked out the headlights and installed a Carbon Fiber exhaust heat shield. My old mods and times are in my sig.

Well after not driving it for 6 months it feels like a totally new car! I missed it so much over the winter. I punched it doing 65 in 5th and it pulled so hard with the cams, very impressed.

Well Im heading to the track on the 9th and will be trying for 11's on pump with the stock 9.8turbo and flashed ECU. Cant wait! I will post some picks when I get it washed

Sounds good; keep us posted. I will have a setup similar to yours soon enough so I would like to see what you run.

The car is so fast now its crazy. Actually Im not sure if its that much faster or its the fact Ive been driving a '87 Civic for the last 6 months

Im going to try for 11's on pump and if I get there I might throw some 110 in there and turn up the boost to see what it will do.

Did you get that 12.34 before the cams? If so....damn.

That modlist (with the cams) seems pretty small for 11's myself without some extra boost from akly or something. But he11, if you keep cracking off 1.6 60ft's....nice!

Welcome to good driving, boomn. NIevo is one our better Evo drivers. My 12.26 was without cams, too, but the 12.000 was with race gas. I think NI has a good chance of nailing 11s on pump gas, something I didn't get a chance to do.

^^^ Tracks (and dare I say elevation) and humidity play a part in it. At our local track, Evo's and STi's will run mid-high 13's with exhaust mods. It's just a hard track to get good times.

Yeah, the 12.3 was just the TBE, intake, mbc, and flash. The track is at 2200ft elev. and has some CRAPPY prep, but its the only thing within 300miles. I think I have a fairly good chance at 11's but you never know!

Thanks for the words Warr. I think I'll try adding some race the next time I go, just to see what happens. Ive got a Ebay/Buschur coated O2 sensor in the garage and a DC Sports Mani on order. Just waiting to get the money for a 10.5 before I add all that good stuff, can't wait!

I think you mean o2 housing, but yeah. You will at least hit 12.0s on pump gas, but with race gas, it's a no-brainer as long as you're still hitting those 60's.
