Any way to hide a MBC from dealer?
Is there a place to mount or hide a MBC from the dealer in case I need to bring it in? If not how difficult is it to take off before going in and is there any evidence that it was there?
Thanks

It takes about 40-45mins to uninstall it and re-install the stock system. You don't know this from doing it yourself the first time?

I have not done it yet, but my new performance shop recommended it. I did not know if the dealer would be able to see it or not.

If it's a manual boost controller, it should be really simple and take like 2 minutes to take off and put the stock vaccuum line back on. Just take it off, and re-connect the stock vaccuum line on it. (trace the vaccuum line, see where it tee's off of, and un-tee it) . Hope that helps.
Might want to find out if your dealer is mod friendly. Some dealers won't go out of their way to void your warranty and if that is all you have done you could be okay. BUT check with other evo owners in the area first if you decide to leave it on. Some dealers can be cool....but be warned, most dealers suck and are out to get the little man. It's early and i already need a

You have to use completely separate vaccuum lines for an MBC than you do for the stock BCS, so you have to do a full uninstall and re-install. 40-45mins...

I just assumed it was that simple being most turbo cars work the same with that same MBC concept (boost/pressure source to wastegate line).
