I'm about 13k deep in my Evo since '04. The funny thing is I could have paid the damn car off if I hadn't been modding

Power mods = $925
Race Tires = $600 + $800 (2 sets)
Winter Tires = $100 (used)
Race Rims = $600
ACT = $500
Flywheel = $250
Race alignment on stock suspension = $60

So, ~$3800 the majority being racing-related items (rims/tires/alignment/clutch)

$60 on a drop-in air filter. With all of the thousands of dollars that people have spent modifying their car, I don't feel so bad about taking a loss on trading in my Eclipse and keeping the Evo stock.

$120 for a Ingalls Stiffy
$50 for a K&N drop in

Rest of my mods were free. Gotta love good friends in the right places.

I think I have spent around $5k, maybe a little more. I haven't looked at the total in a while.

You have only spent 925 on power mods and your 12 flat here in CO @ 5900 ft. elevation?

I just added it up. ~$2300, not including tires related stuff (alignment, rotation, balance, or new tires). For that kind of cash, I'd say my power is pretty good.

Note: If I wasn't married, I would be afraid to guess how much I would have wasted on this money pit.

Sure you did buddy, please do sell your car and move to an easier platform, because you know the list of cars running 11s with bolt ons for $35,000 and under is mighty large. No debate, just sell the car and move on, I'm sure many will be shedding tears

Also is your car tuned? By whom? Custom or mail in? Any dyno numbers? Please share more info about this imaginary EVO you have.

No, I just moved to CO 2 months ago. I ran my 12.000 with stock cams on race gas at 500' elevation in MD. I now have about $3k worth of power mods, but I have only spent $925. I just hope to hit 12-flat up here after all the additions (cams, alky, etc).
