I have it and am finally, after installing a ton of crap this weekend, switching to a manual. As much as I hate to admit it, I am jumping off the bridge like everyone else and going with a Hallman I picked up last night.
The Profec is nice, I really like it *Once it's set up properly*! Setting it up properly is the key. I would have to say that I really know how to set it up, but I am getting tired of screwing with it every time the weather changes up here in Buffalo, NY which is about every 20 minutes.
If you are really interested in one, I will be offing mine. All original manuals, box, paperwork etc.. Used for about 6 months, perfect shape. Controller itself in perfect shape as well. If you are interested, PM me and we can discuss.

tkkleman - if you think a MBC is going to be spot on in all conditions, you are highly mistaken.
the ebc you can control on the fly and have two different boost setups at your fingertips. it's not the most cost effective, but a nice unit indeed. it also has safety features which your MBC will not have. it can reduce boost if it spikes too high for whatever reason.
03-red - The install is fairly easy, especially is you have done other work on your car. Just do a search and you will find everything you need to setup and install. It also comes with an instruction book that will tell you everything you need to know.

i used to have it and the install is just like a mbc other than running power and ground for the controller inside the car. its works really good only if you know how to use it...if you have any question about what boost gain and set gain is you shouldnt use this boost controller. get a manual boost controller like the forge UNOS. very easy to use and install, only 2 vacuum lines and is adjusted by turning the knob on top. my .02
No, it's not that it's going to be spot on, I don't believe that. It it just for my interests, and where I live currently, it literally is 65 one day, and 30 by night. It is friggen rediculous! I am just getting tired of all the "Gadget" crap in the car, and am wanting to "hide" more stuff. I know, I know, I can hide the profec, but if I do, I might as well run manual because I won't be able to see the display.
Don't get me wrong, I like the profec, but I think that I am looking to get rid
of the 4,929 electronic devices I have in the car, and go a more simpler route.
I do agree on the safety features, but I am not looking to absolutly max my car out either, so I am really not concerned about a 1psi difference, for it's my daily driver for now and I would rather err on the side of safety by running slightly lower than i can.
