Currious if the seats are a direct swap between the IX and VIII?

Has anyone tried this yet or have any idea if this is possible.

 

I recently swapped IX seats into my VIII. I haven't driven the car yet, but I didn't run into any fitment issues.

 

I got full evo 9 interior on my evo 8 not fittment issues they are great

 

How and where did you get those interiors from???

I been looking for these interiors for the longest time

A friend of mine recently traded in his VIII for a IX RS. Since he had sold his stock front seats after installing Sparco racing seats, I traded him my stock VIII front seats for the Recaros out of his IX. He was gracious enough to trade me his rear seat as well. Thanks mucho, nubby.

 

you got lucky then, most people around here are holding onto their 9 stuff real tight

 

I hope to find someone who bought an IX in blue to trade one day...god I hate blue inserts in a red car...
