Who has a greddy Type RS?

For those of you who have this BOV, how do you like it? I used to have a type S and i had to remove one of the springs, which wasn't a big deal...

did anyone remove a spring in this BOV?

any info is appreciated guys

thanks

1 spring

Works great and yes 1 spring mod. Boosting like 30 psi with it set with very little preload.

Not exactly. See which one works best for you. I have had a good experience using both springs. the key to tuning the RS is not to screw the adjustment vavle too low.

When I had the adjustment screw down further, I had boost leak. Once I loosed the adjustment screw (with both springs), thing worked like a champ.

I have one too.. It flutters a bit. Sometimes it's compressor surge I know. It's not the BOV fault. The BOV is sick! Very nice... I would adjust it, but it sounds too good right now. So, if it fails, all the more reason to come up with money for a bigger turbo

Try backing off on the preload a bit. Did you do the one spring mod?
